The U.S. Department of Labor has identified Registered Nursing as the #1 growth occupation through 2012, yet over 50% of RN’s nationwide have not yet obtained a Bachelor’s degree. The National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice (NACNEP) has urged that at least two-thirds of the Nurse workforce hold Bachelor’s degrees or higher in Nursing by 2010.
